Ardi leads the Renewable America team and its efforts to develop the Community Solar market through CCAs in California. Ardi started his career in solar 15 years ago in Germany, beginning as an Electrical Engineer, and he has worked internationally on the construction of over 60 solar projects (over 250 MW). Prior to starting up Renewable America, Ardi was General Manager for Suntech Power’s project development team which focused on Community Solar.
Laura brings her commercial real estate experience to the Renewable America team and provides direct support to the company President. In addition to land acquisition, Laura provides administrative, human resources, and sales support to the team. She’s thrilled to work with a team who shares her passion for the outdoors and the environment. Her prior roles include Administrative Assistant and Property Manager.
Farshid received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Power systems) in 2006 and his master’s degree in Solar Energy Engineering in December 2013. He collects four years of experience with Solar PV design and more than five years of electrical power systems, substations, and power plant design and construction. As a licensed Electrical Engineer in California, he is responsible for our engineering team.
Uriel has over one year managing the development at Renewable America, consisting of overseeing early stages of development ranging from preliminary technical utility interconnection analyses to permitting activities. His primary focus involves overseeing due diligence activities as well as optimizing projects’ solar yields. He is currently working on developing some of the first microgrid projects in California. In his spare time, Uriel enjoys mountain biking and relaxing by California’s coast.
Housh has a B.S. degree in International Business and combined his degree with his passion for real estate and investments to become a licensed Realtor. He started his career as a property manager, where he learned about the real estate market and its fluctuations. From there, he started to gain experience in real estate sales with a focus on investment purchases. Housh brings over 10 years of experience in customer service and consulting to ensure that Renewable America’s landowners are treated professionally and in a timely manner. He is a California resident since 1999 and is a nature lover who appreciates our planet and its beauty.
Yuka joined Renewable America with over seventeen years of experience in customer service. As a fluent Japanese speaker, she is a relationship-builder for communities, employees, and customers – notably as a liaison between her college and a school in Japan. Her organization skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong initiative make her a key member of the Renewable America team. Having grown up in Monterey, Yuka is passionate about the surrounding environment and loves spending her free time at the beach. She enjoys working with the Renewable America team and partnering to expand renewable energy across the state.
Laxmi recently joined Renewable America as the Financial Analyst. She comes with over five years of experience in managing the financing of utility-scale solar project development and managing Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) advisory mandates of renewable energy operating assets. With her investment banking experience and ongoing M.S. in Energy Systems Management, she aces at building robust project finance structures which incorporate debt and tax equity investments for solar projects.
