EIN Webinar on Community Solar and the Inflation Reduction Act to Feature Renewable America

Energy Innovation Network Webinar: Wed, Nov 2, 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM PDT

We have very excited to have our CEO & President Ardi Arian as part of a panel discussion organized by Energy Innovation Network.

The interests of electricity users in renewable energy, particularly solar energy, has increased significantly over the past decade, primarily driven by the need to reduce energy costs, achieve energy independence and fight climate change. Community solar, which is a system that allows customers to buy or lease part of an off-site or on-site shared solar system, has emerged as one of the most important ways through which communities, businesses, and municipalities in the developed world can access the benefits of renewable energy.

Community solar development is not dependent on the physical attributes and ownership status of an electricity user’s building, which is one of the key factors in favour of this solar energy deployment model. It has resulted in 3.3 gigawatts in installed capacity of community solar in the United States as of 2021 and is expanding rapidly.

This informative webinar panel discussion will explore the importance, market overview, growth, and impending challenges to developing community solar projects. We will also explore the potential impact of state and federal incentives, credits, and policies, particularly those in the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act in the United States.
